The
Neil Scott Johnson Band
plays their own distinctive brand of “high energy country music”,
and have a well-earned reputation as one of the hottest acts in the Northeast.
Originating out of New York City, they were named “Band Of The Year”
in 1999, 2000 and again in 2001
by the New York Metropolitan Country Music Association. Wherever they play,
there is strong audience response and calls for return engagements. They
have opened shows for many major artists, including Alan Jackson, Randy
Travis, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Brooks & Dunn. The band has released 2
independent CDs, and has recently been in Nashville working in the studio
on a new recording project with respected session player and producer Dave
Pomeroy The resulting tracks have translated the energy, sincerity, and

NEIL
SCOTT JOHNSON - Lead Vocals, Acoustic and Electric Guitar
Neil is a gifted songwriter, guitarist and vocalist who is passionate about
the music he and his band play. He grew up in upstate New York, and has
a powerful, classically trained voice that is unmistakable. Neil is an energetic
and charismatic performer whose stage presence, strong vocals and surprising
guitar prowess command an audience’s attention. He and the band are
capable of keeping a crowd on their feet with energetic uptempo tunes, or
breaking hearts with a heartfelt ballad. He is endorsed by DR strings and
Takemine guitars, and he is signed as a songwriter to American Originals

Anthony Liccese - Drums, Percussion & Backup Vocals
Born and raised in the Bronx playing baseball and music, Anthony has found outlet and passion for the arts from a very early age. Through writing and producing his own material, he has developed many musical performance skills that take the "underlying beat" to stabile new heights . Anthony has written and produced radio jingles for Beefeater Gin. Having spent many years in the live club date business, his drumming and vocals have become his strongest asset. Through various musical acts, he has been involved in developing and performing songs throughout NYC since the age of 16. Anthony is excited about his latest performance project with the Neil Scott Johnson Band
